We are seeking a skilled freelance transcriptionist fluent in both Nauru and English for transcription projects. This role involves accurately transcribing audio and video content from Nauru to English while maintaining clarity and context.

Job Description:

• Transcribe spoken content from Nauru to English with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
• Ensure proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation in transcriptions.
• Adapt transcription style and tone based on the content type, ensuring clarity and correctness.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all transcription tasks.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Edit and proofread transcripts to ensure high accuracy and consistency.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both Nauru and English, with strong listening and writing skills in both languages.
• Prior experience in transcription (1–3 years preferred), especially in legal, medical, or business fields.
• Strong cultural knowledge of Nauruan-speaking communities.
• Ability to work with various transcription tools and audio formats.
