The Turkish language has several dialects that can be divided into two major groups: the Western dialects, and the Eastern dialects. Danubian is the major Turkish dialect of the Western group, and the Eastern group comprises Razgrad, Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Eskisehir, Dinler, Edirne, Rumelian, and Karamanli. This history of this language has three main groups, old Turkish (the 7th to 13th centuries), mid-Turkish (from the 13th century to the 20th), and new Turkish from the 20th century forward.
Arabic and Persian words invaded the Turkish language during the Ottoman Empire and it became an amalgamate of three different languages.
