We are seeking a skilled freelance translator fluent in both Nauru and English for translation projects. This role involves accurately translating various materials, including legal, medical, business, and cultural content.

Job Description:

• Translate documents from Nauru to English and vice versa with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
• Adapt translation style and tone based on the content type, ensuring clarity and correctness.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all translation tasks.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Proofread and edit translations to ensure high accuracy and consistency.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both Nauru and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience in translation (1–3 years preferred), especially in legal, medical, or business fields.
• Strong cultural knowledge of Nauruan-speaking communities.
• Ability to use translation tools effectively.
• Attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to meet deadlines.
