This role involves delivering accurate, culturally sensitive translations and ensuring compliance with legal requirements for notarization.

Job Description:

• Translate official documents from Amharic to English with precision and cultural sensitivity.
• Provide notarized translations as required for legal and official use.
• Proofread and edit translations to ensure accuracy and compliance with original document intent.
• Collaborate with clients to meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Ensure strict confidentiality and adherence to data protection standards.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Amharic and English, with exceptional written communication skills in both languages.
• Proven experience in translation, especially for official/legal documents (1–3 years preferred).
• Familiarity with notarization processes in the United States.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of meeting deadlines.
• Must be based in the United States for this position.
